Snyu terms of use

These terms cover the use of Snyu, a Discord bot present in the Mudae World and Rollsdae World servers, official servers of the Mudae application. Using the bot means accepting them.

Who runs Snyu

Snyu is written and run by me, a private individual, not a company. It is provided free of charge. It is not affiliated with Discord. It is also separate from Mudae: it is not part of Mudae, and the Mudae team is not responsible for it.

Using the bot

Use it as it is meant to be used. Don't try to break it, flood it with commands or have it deliberately spam any channels, exploit a bug in it for gain or unfair advantage, or use it to harass other members or to get around any moderation decisions. If you find a bug that gives you an advantage, report it rather than using it. If you find a glitch that breaks a feature, report that too.

The rules of the servers Mudae World and Rollsdae World apply to the bot as well. Anything you send via Snyu to the moderation teams, such as a report, should be honest.

Game records have no value in the real world

Balances, rewards, auction results, characters and debts stored by Snyu only exist inside the game the community plays. They are not property, they are not currency, and they cannot be exchanged for money. They can be adjusted or reset by the moderation team, and they can be lost to a bug or to a restore from a backup.

Trading

Snyu balances can be traded for other Snyu balances, for Mudae kakera or characters, and for Mudae-related work, within the limits set out in Snyu's documentation. Anything outside that is not allowed, and real money is never allowed in either direction. When in doubt, don't trade, and ask a moderator first.

What is not promised

Snyu is provided with no guarantee that it will be available, that it will work correctly, or that data held in it will not be lost. It runs on a single server and it is maintained in my own spare time. Features may change or be removed without notice.

Moderation

Access to the bot, or to any of its features, can be restricted or revoked by the moderation teams of the Mudae World and Rollsdae World servers, within their respective scope. That is a moderation decision and it is taken in both servers, not here. If you think a decision was wrong, contact the moderators of the appropriate moderation teams.

Your data

What Snyu stores about you, and for how long, is described in the privacy policy.

You can ask at any time for your data to be shown, corrected, anonymised or deleted. Use the request form on the privacy page. I handle them myself.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The date at the top of the page changes with them. Continuing to use the bot after a change means accepting the new version.
